Description
The infrared photocell sensor consists of two components: an emitter and a receiver. The emitter is designed to generate an infrared light beam. The receiver is used to detect any interruptions. This non-contact sensing technology provides high detection accuracy with a fast response. In addition, the infrared beam sensor is immune to strong light interference, such as sunlight and vehicle headlights. Weather resistant for all seasons of the year.
It can be powered by the control board of the gate opener or by the external 12-24VDC or 12-24VAC power source. Connect both the receiver and the emitter to the gate opener system. It is suggested to mount the photocell sensor at least 8″ (20cm) above the ground.
